Trusting Thomas

The Bell is Ringing. It’s time for worship! … This week we continue looking at the encounters people had with the resurrected Jesus. Last week we journeyed to Emmaus. This week we are with the eleven back in Jerusalem. Christianity rests on the idea that Jesus rose from the dead on that first Easter morning, but it can be the hardest thing for many to accept. Thomas had trouble believing it even when his friends all said that they saw him. Through history he has been referred to as the doubter, but is he really and different that any of them … than so many of us? We will look at what happened when Thomas did see Jesus in the flesh. Did That Just Happen? He Is Risen Indeed!

John Wesley’s “Rule of Life”
Do all the good you can,
By all the means your can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever your can.
