What Is a Bottle Auction?
A bottle auction can be a fun fundraising game. People bring bottles of whatever they want. It could be filled with catsup, water, a picture, a ship, or with whatever you can dream up. The bottle is wrapped, so no one can see inside. The bottles will be on a table where participants can look at them, but they cannot pick them up or shake them. The bottles are then auctioned off. At the end everyone gets possession of their bottle and can unwrap it to see what is inside. Everyone coming to the dinner is invited to bring a wrapped bottle for the auction.
