Kept in Our Hearts

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it! It’s time for worship, and we are continuing with Heart of the Matter. Today’s title is “Kept in Our Hearts.” We are worshiping in the time of pandemic unlike what most of us have seen in our lifetimes. However, not unique in history. People are suffering in many different ways due to the pandemic whether they or their loved ones are ill, or because of the disruption of the normal ways of living. This week’s themes have to do with keeping Jesus’ commandment to love and our response to suffering or even ridicule because of doing the right thing or what is good for others.

Grab some food and drink. Light a candle, and don’t forget your heart stone. Let’s break bread and worship the Lord together.

John Wesley’s “Rule of Life”
Do all the good you can,
By all the means your can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever your can.
