Justice and Mercy

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it! The bell is ringing. It’s time for worship.

We are continuing with our summer worship series, Revelation: Strength for Today; Bright Hope for Tomorrow. Revelation is a book that the people of God have gone to time and time again through the centuries as they were faced with the most disturbing of challenges.

This week we look at God’s justice AND God’s mercy in the plan to rescue Creation. We can get hung up on the judgment and miss the mercy that is provided for the saving of the world. See how this book can provide us strength to stand while we endure the pain, difficulty, and tribulations of this world. And remember that Jesus promised, “…I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 29:20)

John Wesley’s “Rule of Life”
Do all the good you can,
By all the means your can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever your can.
