Honest Prayers: Bringing Ourselves to God

Now Offering In-Person Worship on Sunday’s at 10 AM.
And Streaming Online on Our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/JosephUMC

Welcome to worship! We are beginning our new series, Honest Prayers Bringing Ourselves to God. Over the next four weeks, we will be featuring a particular person from the Bible from both the Older and Newer Testaments. We will look at the situation they found themselves in and how they approached God honestly in prayer. We will start with Hezekiah, who found himself gravely ill. Next week will feature King David. Then, Jesus and Paul & Silas. The more we share our true and unfiltered selves with God, the closer we will feel to God and know that we can trust him enough to go to him with anything.

John Wesley’s “Rule of Life”
Do all the good you can,
By all the means your can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever your can..
