Christ Is Risen, Indeed

Welcome to Worship! … We have been looking at the resurrection appearances of Jesus. The disciples who experienced them all found them hard to believe or trust. We have been on the road to Emmaus, in an Upper Room with the Thomas and the other disciples, and on a mountaintop as Jesus told the disciples to take the message into the world, even the ones who doubted.

This week Jesus appears to the least likely candidate, the one who seems to be working the hardest to stop the early church, not spread it. Why are these early experiences important for us? What can tell us today? Join us as we wrap up our series, Did That Just Happen? He is Risen Indeed!

John Wesley’s “Rule of Life”
Do all the good you can,
By all the means your can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever your can.

You are changing lives. With the continued support of our donors, we have been able to keep moving forward in ever changing times. We have explored new ways of doing ministry and maintaining our connection with God and with each other. This has allowed us to share God’s love with more people than ever before. Be a part of it with your donation, today. You can give electronically through our secure portal through Vanco Online Payments, or you can mail your check to JUMC, PO Box 81, Joseph, OR 97846.

Thank you for supporting the ministries of Joseph United Methodist Church!
